Some of them, by producing beneficial compounds such as short-chain fatty acids and anti-inflammatory, repairing, and reducing factors of invading microorganisms, significantly contribute to maintaining the health of the digestive system. Probiotics are the common name for this category of microbes. This book attempts to provide explanations for the use of researchers and stakeholders interested in the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture industries, hoping it will be fruitful.
